José Luis Avellano is an accomplished telecommunication engineer with more than 25 years of experience in product development, design and implementation in embedded SW and user applications, specialist in IPTV and Conditional Access Systems for Digital TV, with strong management skills.

Prior to bc-techs, José Luis has been Software Department Director of SIDSA, and Chief Technology Officer of the SIDSA IPTV business line. José Luis has developed his entire professional career in SIDSA, working during the first three years as software engineer, to continue later as a software project manager during 2 years to finally assume the management of all SIDSA software development.

José Luis holds a MS Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Antonio Meléndez is an expert system architect with more than 20 years of experience in software, firmware and electronic design and product development.

Prior to bc-techs, Antonio Meléndez worked in SIDSA, implementing firmware applications for IPTV and Mobile TV products, designing user applications for IP streaming. Antonio Meléndez has also worked as a system engineer in Jofemar, developing products for public telephony, GSM and GPRS, and where he also held operational and customer support roles.

Antonio earned his BS degree in Industrial Engineering and his BS degree in Computer Systems in La Almunia Polytechnic University (EUPLA).
